According to the exit polls, our team RED charity mini bake sale went down a storm on Friday 9 June.

We were all in need of some sugar after watching the General Election results unfold overnight.

Our union jack cupcakes were a hit with the many (not the few).

And Becky’s mum’s famous victoria sponge didn’t disappoint; it certainly looked strong and stable.

It was all in aid of the British Heart Foundation’s Wear It Beat It day. And to fit in with the BHF’s theme, we wore red in the office.

The lovely people at York Eco Business Centre were, as always, very generous, helping us to raise an incredible £85.10 for this fantastic charity – and all by lunchtime.

Organising a bake sale the morning after an election?

Piece of cake.
